But what about that autistic kid who sat in the back of the class, was perpetually lost in his own little world, had no friends, and was never invited to any parties? His story was never told in that book, so I decided to tell it. Mixtape Autism depicts a day in the life of an autistic man during his junior year of high school in 2007.
