This is the first book of the Autism It's Ok Series. Ben Blanchet is a 15 year old who has autism. Together, with his mother Angela Blanchet, he is writing a series of illustrated stories to help children who have autism feel accepted. Often children who have autism demonstrate stimulatory behaviors such as hand flapping and rocking, as well as other charactertistics that can be misunderstood. Ben wants to help children who have autism feel more understood. He wants to educate the public about autism and help those who have autism to feel that "it's ok" to be who you are.
