Autism is a spectrum and can present differently in different people and we each have our own strengths and weaknesses. It can be difficult to understand why we do things differently to others and this can lead to us becoming frustrated and overwhelmed. As an autistic individual it is not your responsibility to explain yourself or educate others but learning to identify autistic characteristics in yourself and others can lead to a better understanding not only for you but for others. This book is intended for primary school aged children who may be autistic and may also have a parent, friend or family member who is autistic.
