Vanessa Oropeza
Vanessa is from Vacaville, CA where she began working with children at the local school district. Vanessa was drawn to apply to speech-language pathology programs after working with children with speech and language difficulties in elementary schools. Vanessa attended San Francisco State University for both her bachelors and master’s degree. During her time in graduate school, Vanessa gained experience working in bilingual Spanish Special Education and Early Intervention at San Francisco General Hospital and San Francisco Unified School District. As a first-generation college student who comes from a proud family of immigrants, she was taught that hard work and compassion will always take you far. Vanessa carries those values with her every day, as she is passionate about providing speech therapy services to children from diverse cultural, and lingual backgrounds.Â
