My name is Sofia Dorantes, and I am a bilingual speech-language pathologist (SLP) working at Birdsong Speech Therapy Clinic in Springfield, Oregon. I graduated from the University of Oregon with a master’s degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences (CDS). During graduate school, I participated in a program called Project INICIO, which prepared me to work as an SLP in early intervention for dual language learners in English and in Spanish.
