Shahin has completed a certification course under the title of “Voice Rehabilitation after Laryngectomy.” After pursuing her Bachelor’s degree, she worked for 6 months in a private home- based therapy setting with the pediatric population in India. She has 2 years’ experience working in a special education school in Dubai that consists of having children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, articulation disorders, hearing impairments and Downs Syndrome. She has experience performing audiological assessments and other speech and language diagnostic evaluations with both the pediatric and adult populations.
