Robin Veldman Speech Therapy
Robin is a North Carolina licensed pediatric speech-language pathologist. She received her Master's degree from the University of Maryland at College Park.Robin has extensive experience with assessment and intervention for a wide range of pediatric speech and language problems. She has worked in a variety of settings, including early intervention, public school, inclusive and self-contained preschool classrooms, K-8 charter schools, large group private practice, and individual private practice. She incorporates many treatment approaches into her work, including play based strategies, PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets), Michelle Garcia Winner’s Social Thinking curricula, Social Stories, Pictures/Signs, and apps for communication.
