PAMITA
Pamita Jayawardena holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Psychology from UCSI University and is currently pursuing a Masters of Education in Special Education. She began her career at Autism Link in 2013 as a Behavior Therapist, after having undergone intensive ABA training. She started out working with younger students in the one-to-one setting before moving on to work with teens and young adults in the classroom setting, later leading teams in both settings. She was promoted to Senior Behavior Therapist in 2014 and advanced to the role of Case Supervisor in 2017. Her current role at Autism Link includes providing supervision to individual cases, task analyses and designing Individual Educational Plans (IEP), staff development and training, conducting monthly clinic meetings, parent training and communicating with consultants from Autism Partnership Hong Kong and Singapore. She is experienced in areas of behavior management, communication skills, social skills, community skills, self-help skills, language skills and more.
