Namita Panekat
Namita is an Occupational Therapist with over 10 years of experience working with pediatric and adult clients with different needs. She is a licensed and registered member of the All India Occupational Therapists Association. She also holds practising licences of other countries such as Nigeria, UAE, and Zimbabwe. Namita is certified and trained in Neurodevelpmental Therapy (Bobath Techniques). She has worked in one of the leading government hospitals and also a very well-established special needs center in the UAE. She has experience in acute and sub-acute rehabilitation in hospitals. She has been instrumental in developing and implementing the preterm baby screening program for neonates in the neonatal intensive care units and special care baby units in various hospitals in the UAE. Namita also has experience in community based rehabilitation and has developed innovative intervention techniques in various villages across India and Zimbabwe. <br /> Namita has conducted various parent, teacher and staff training programs in various hospitals, clinics, schools across India, Zimbabwe, Nigeria and the UAE. She believes in keeping herself abreast of the developments in her field, by attending various international and national CME programs.
