Magalies Special School
Magalies Special School is a LSEN ( Learners with Special Educational Needs) school and caters for the Mild to Moderate Inectually Disabled (MID) learner. At Magalies Special School learners receive individual attention to address their specific needs. Classes are much smaller than in main stream schools, to create an optimum learning environment. Magalies Special School follows the CAPS Curriculum but has adapted to the content and volume to the level of capability of the MID learner. The aim is to develop and uplift learners in all aspects. Therefore we don't only focus on academic achievements, but also on developing vocational skills and building of character through sport and cultural activities. This gives learners the opportunity to develop and build leardership skills.
