Dt Madhu Sharma RD (President of the Indian Dietetic Association, Chandigarh) is an established registered Dietitian, with a rich experience of more than 3 decades of service. Her main areas of interest are obesity, child nutrition and various nutritional aspects associated with it and gastric and liver disorders, besides awareness on Lifestyle Diseases, which comprise commonly prevalent problems of diabetes both in adults and children, cardiac and hypertension in the population.Nutritional awareness programmes by way of education also form a part of her activities.She has to her credit published 3 books on Paediatric Nutrition which deal with varied aspects of nutrition in health and disease in children, besides various papers in related academic journals.
