Kristen Kane
Kristen Kane is an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Gonzaga University and her Master of Arts in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Long Beach in 2014 where she was granted the “Most Outstanding Thesis” award.Prior to joining Central Oregon Speech & Language, Kristen worked primarily with children with moderate to profound speech and language disorders in clinic- and school-based settings. While working in the school setting, Kristen directed the creation of a district-wide protocol for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) evaluations. Areas of specialty include speech sound disorders and developing early language and vocabulary using play- and literacy-based approaches. Kristen is a self-proclaimed master of the R sound!
