With the objective of ‘Making Health a Reality for the people of Himachal Pradesh’, Himachal Pradesh Voluntary Health Association (HPVHA), a state chapter of Voluntary Health Association of India (VHAI) is working on various issues and concerns in health and sustainable development since 1987. HPVHA strongly advocates the necessity of Health Promotion and targeted interventions which not only involves the prevention of diseases, but creates an appreciation with regard to the importance of health as an end in itself.
