Heather graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Master's in Speech Language Pathology in 2016. She was certified by the Ohio Board of Speech Language Pathology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association in 2018.While pursuing her degree, she developed an interest in fluency disorders (i.e. stuttering). She is currently a PhD student studying speech-language pathology at Kent State University with a research focus on stuttering. Heather has taught courses in speech development, and served as a teaching assistant for several undergraduate courses. In her career she has provided assessments and therapeutic services in public schools and various summer camps for children of all ages.
