Dr. Maura Collins
Dr. Collins is a child psychologist with expertise in autism and other neurodevelopmental differences such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disorders, and intellectual disability.Dr. Collins offers telehealth evaluations for toddlers (14-36 months of age), preschoolers, and school-aged children to assess for autism. These evaluations include a comprehensive developmental interview with the parent/caregiver, use of relevant standardized assessment measures, and observations of the child’s social interaction skills and behaviors to evaluate for features consistent or inconsistent with an autism diagnosis.Dr. Collins also offers select group therapies for children diagnosed with autism and/or ADHD. Groups currently being offered include: (1) Unstuck & On-Target! to assist children in increasing cognitive and behavioral flexibility skills, and (2) PEERS, which is a social skills group designed to help children learn ways to make and keep friends.
