Diganta’s Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre
DPRC (Diganta’s Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre) is the only ISO Certified Centre for treatment of Physical Disabilities and Spinal Injuries in the North-East. We also operate a unit DCRS (Diganta’s Child Rehabilitation Services) for children with Special Abilities — autism, cerebral palsy and other issues. We have been running DPRC without any government assistance. Recently, we completed four years of our existence with happy and confident patients and family members alike. During our last anniversary programme (2015), Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, then Health Minister, assured us that if he becomes a part of the next government, he would help us transform DPRC into a bigger stage to cater to the needs of the masses. It is to be noted that on 8th July 2012, Dr Sarma himself inaugurated the Centre.
