I graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1992 as an occupational therapist.<br /> I have experience in the field of psychiatry since 1993.<br /> I have experience in the field of addiction treatment since 1998<br /> <br /> I treat a wide range of adult mental health concerns from the daily trials that test us all to addictions, eating disorders and mental illness. <br /> A lot of what I do is counseling but I will also incorporate a range of activities as it is indicated, as well as home visits or family sessions. <br /> <br /> After 20 years experience in the field of psychiatry and mental health I am still acuy interested in the translation of mental states into one's practice of daily living. I understand how disabling a state of mind can be. As an occupational therapist I am committed to helping my patients achieve a better quality of life. <br />
