Cuddles is an Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy Centre for paediatric and adult patients located at Nasik road. In addition to the core services we have provisions for Speech Therapy and Special Education. We also provide rehabilitation services at home for adults when travelling is a difficult task. At Cuddles we help children develop skills essential for performing activities of daily living such as self care, school, play and leisure. For adults we provide intervention services for Cumulative Trauma Disorders and Rehabilitation post injury.<br /> At Cuddles we help children to develop skills essential for performing activities of daily living such as self care, school, play and leisure. These are main areas of occupation for child's development and his integration in social environment. We help the children develop essential skills to achieve their maximum potential through training, intervention and adaptation. We focus on enhancing confidence, self esteem, social skills and general well being in order to make them independent and efficient in there occupational performance areas. At Cuddles we use a multidisciplinary approach including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy and Special Education to to enhance the child's potential. The type of therapy or therapeutic approach is based on the outcomes of various assessments focused to understand the underline cause affecting the child's performance. We use multiple standardized evaluation at Cuddles. We work with infants, children and adolscence up to age 18. With an expert understanding of child development and paediatric conditions, we analyse why a child may be struggling to carry out specific task, we plan a treatment to address the specific issues. Our main aim is to make a child independent in his environment by solving his problems, finding adaptations for him and using his capacities at its best. Paediatric occupational therapy applies specialist approaches and techniques to maximise a child’s engagement, achievement and independence in all activities, including those at school, play, leisure, self care skills such as dressing and feeding.
