Claire Clarke
Claire qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in Ireland in 2010. Since then, she has worked for the National Health Service (NHS) across London in different settings including pediatric clinics, clients’ homes, nurseries, mainstream primary and secondary schools. Claire has experienced working with children who have ASD, Global Developmental Delays, Down Syndrome, learning disabilities, receptive and/or expressive language disorders, articulation impairments, social communication disorders and selective mutism. Claire has a particular interest in Early Intervention and Autistic Spectrum Disorders. She has completed training in Hanen Programs - It Takes Two To Talk and More than Words. She is a certified administrator for the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS). She has experience with augmentative and alternative communication and has trained in Makaton, PECS and is familiar with the SCERTS approach. Claire has seen the benefits of upskilling parents and school staff and enjoys delivering training and modelling therapy.
