Centre for Autism India is dedicated to helping children overcome the challenge of autism through innovative evidence-based programmes in education, outreach and adult services.<br /> Working in collaboration with other organisations in this field, our chairperson Ms.Mini Kurian and the Board of Directors have articulated a mission for CAI that resulted in a centre for excellence in services developed to meet the needs of children affected with autism and their families across their life span. These service programmes will reach out to children, their families as well as communities. Based on outcomes, the programmes will undergo subsequent improvement.<br /> CAI incorporates the values of strategic leadership (LEAD), innovation and evidence-based (CREATE) and systems transformation ( CHANGE) into all programme development and operational advice. We create innovative programmes for effective and efficient changes in children and adults with autism and other related special needs. Programmes will be developed, refined and ultimately replicated to demonstrate to key policymakers ways in which people impacted by autism can be best served in their communities. This is the strategic process by which CAI's vision of a world in which people overcome the challenges of autism will be accomplished.
