Aqua Active Therapy
Aqua Active Therapy is a comprehensive program of therapeutic intervention in a swimming pool that offers the appropriate challenge for learning and development in an environment that develops high motivation in children. It is an eclectic program that combines elements from methods & techniques internationally recognized for their application to the target population: Sensory Integration (SI), Halliwick, Bobath NDT, PNF, TEACCH, PECS, MORE, Sherborne , Cognitive Behavior Drama, Marte Meo, etc. It is aimed at children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disorders, prematurity, genetic syndromes, ADHD, dyspraxia, neuromuscular disorder, anxiety disorders or with a traumatic experience in the water.
