Amber Fox
Amber received her Masters of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of North Dakota in 2006. Originally from Velva, ND, she has found a home in Bismarck following graduation. Amber’s experience in the hospital setting allowed a varied caseload including outpatient adults and pediatrics, NICU, acute care, inpatient rehab and long term care. Her professional interests include autism, childhood apraxia of speech, auditory processing, chromosomal disorders, augmentative and alternative communication and pediatric dysphagia (swallowing disorders). Amber holds Autism Certification through UND, certification in PECS, apraxia treatment training in PROMPT and training in the evaluation and treatment of pediatric dysphagia. Amber believes strongly that a whole language approach focusing on the child’s strengths; communication and coordination of service delivery with other providers; and keeping family’s goals and carryover needs can lead to greater outcomes.
