This free presentation is open to the public and designed for parents whose children have recently been diagnosed with autism. The session covers basic characteristics of Autism Spectrum Disorders, how families integrate their feelings about having a child with a disability, and how to get started on a path to helping your family support your child.

Come join us for a fun and inclusive event where autistic individuals can socialise and connect with others and recieve advice and support from our friendly autism advisors. This in-person gathering provides a safe space for everyone to meet new friends, share experiences, and enjoy various activities together.

This presentation is designed for Spanish-speaking caregivers. This is a free event open to those recently diagnosed with autism. The presentation contains basic information about autism spectrum disorder and how to begin the journey for your family to support your child in finding tools that will be helpful for their development. You will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation.

We invite you to join us for our Parent Support Group, created especially for families of children with autism. This is a welcoming space to share experiences, ask questions, and connect with others who truly understand the unique journey of raising a child on the spectrum.

This session provides an overview of autism, including key characteristics, strengths and challenges associated with the condition.

Attendees MUST have attended our Practical Understanding of Autism course first before booking. Including parents/carers who have not attended in the last 2-3 years. Please note, tickets for attendees who do not meet this criteria will automatically be cancelled.
