The Centre for Creative Arts Therapy
All our practitioners are members of the Association of Creative Arts Therapy, Penang and adhere to the Association for Creative Arts Therapy Ethical Code of Practice and its Practice Guidelines. Since 2003, all our clinical work are being supervised by a very experience consultant drama therapist, counsellor, supervisor and trainer from UK. <br /> The work carried out by our practitioners has a well established record in serving the community of Penang, Malaysia. Our practitioners started under BOLD (Association For Children With Special Needs) offering play therapy services in addressing the physical, emotional and psychological needs of children. The original team have expanded in response to the demands by other client groups and other professional disciplines in health, social and community welfare services, seeking us out after noting the efficacy and accessibility of creative arts therapy for a whole range of children and families with behavioural, social, emotional and psychological problems and needs.<br /> Our Centre for Creative Arts Therapy practitioners currently receive referrals and offer creative arts therapy services to hospitals, children homes, mental health services, educational and community services for individual, family and group interventions. The Centre for Creative Arts Therapy prides itself in offering a professional therapy services by practitioners that are skilled, experienced and that are trained and supervised for the interventions they undertake.
