SARAH ANN JARDINE
Sarah has over 14 years experience in psychology in New Zealand where she worked as psychologist helping children, adolescents and their families where there was a diagnosis of developmental disorders such as ASD, ADHD and Specific Learning Disorders. She has a passion for working alongside families helping them to develop the potential in their children. Her practice is with a goal to provide developmental interventions and strategies for families to be able to live better quality lives. Through her practice she has seen and treated the intricate problems that develops within individuals in families and has helped numerous families deal with the complex family dynamics that develop as a consequence of a family member suffering from mental health problems. In 2009 Sarah became a certified Relationship Development Intervention consultant, specifically for individuals and families of individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. She completed this training from the Connections Centre in Houston, Texas. <br /> Sarah has a special interest in and is currently focused on developing therapeutic strategies for individuals based on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy approaches, for the treatment of mental health issues such as Anxiety Disorders, Depression and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders in children, adolescents and adults. She has also taken a special interest in addressing the family and relationship conflicts when one or more members of the family experiences mental health problems. In 2016 she completed a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy program through the University of Auckland, New Zealand. At present her work in Dr Aju's Clinic is primarily focused on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy approaches.Sarah is passionate about her profession and brings a holistic approach to mental health care, based on current researches and best practices, to the individuals and families she works with and is the newest member of the team at Dr Aju's Clinic.
